‘Jon and Kate Plus 8′ Parents Swear to Focus on the Kids

The buzz over Jon and Kate Gosselin’s separation hasn’t died down, and more so because of the statement filed by the stars of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 .   A week after they filed their divorce papers, the two commented briefly on the issue through the network’s website.  Jon and Kate claimed that it will be the last time they’d be speaking out, because it was time to set their focus on their children. Despite news that the launch of Kate’s cookbook has been delayed

, it seems as though her clothing line has been put off course as well.  While her career serves as yet another distraction from raising her children, it shouldn’t stop the Gosselin mom from working on her relationship with the family.  After all, she did make a promise.
