Chandra Wilson, better known as Miranda Bailey, will be playing Matron Mama Morton in the musical Chicago starting June 8th and ending July 5, 2009. It’s great seeing Wilson play another really strong character; I’ve never heard her singing chops, but she has a background in musicals, so I’m not doubting it.
