Land of the Giants - Extra Large DVD Release
It’s only appropriate that 20th Century Fox should release the Irwin Allen classic series Land of the Giants in an extra large box set! That’s right, instead of releasing the season individually, Fox is putting out a single full series box set.
Retailing for $199.99, the set is due out in July and includes interviews with almost all of the surviving cast members including Gary Conway and Deanna Lund. Other extras include 8mm home movie footage of Irwin Allen on set. Other
No box art yet - but this set is another step toward a change in how short season shows are handled. If you ask me, it makes much more sense to offer full series DVD sets before the seasons are released instead of after to cash in on the diehard fans of a series.

I’m right there when this thing comes out. It was one of my earliest fandoms - Conway looking all buff in his tight pilot suit and Don Matheson as the sexy industrialist with a temper - cool effects for the era - a neat show.
