It was a packed house last night at the Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas and not only were the stars shining on stage, they were in the audience, too!  Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles made his legitimate stage debut in a production of Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men and he was a smash hit (and that wasn’t just the fan girls talking).  Theater critics aid Ackles was “nigh on perfect” once he got over some first act jitters playing against Numb3rs recurring guest star Lou Diamond Phillips.

Not only did Ackles have to contend with a short rehearsal time and pages and pages of quick legal and military jargon, he also had to

deal with an audience of enthusiastic fans, all of whom nearly fell out of their seats when Ackles uttered his first line, “Sam!”

Last night that was particularly appropriate since Ackles’ TV brother, Jared Padalecki (Sam) was on hand to watch the show along with his long-time girlfriend Sandy McCoy.  Ah, but who was that other lovely lady in the audience?  Looks like Danneel Harris from One Tree Hill and co-star of Ackles’ indie flick Ten Inch Hero.  Rumor has it that the two are a couple and seeing as how she flew to Texas to be with him through the run of the play, that seems like a safe bet.
