In a strange (and yet familiar) episode of America’s Next Top Model, the girls were challenged to present the story of their life through traditional Aboriginal dance and body paint.  I’m almost ashamed to admit that I cried over Renee’s story but then everyone had a sob story to tell.  Talk about the sympathy vote.  Natasha, who always seems to have a story to tell, went silent on this challenge leaving the live and TV audience confused by her branch-waving tale.

Renee took home the prize, thousands of dollars worth of pearl jewelry and she seemed happy about it.  Personally, I think they need to rethink these rewards - come on, a photoshoot on top of a bridge and jewelry that costs more than the houses these girls live in back home?  How about something these girls can really use like new wardrobe or a year’s supply of Covergirl

The photo shoot was equally odd with the girls trying to capture the mood of the Aboriginal stories in their poses.  And I think it’s time for the yearly, I’m too sick to go on episode. . . .yes!  There it is.  Natasha has the flu but unlike former contestants, she doesn’t even think about not going to the shoot.  Maybe she should have since her film was awful.  We’ve never seen Natasha this bad and it looked like it might cost her the competitionAlas, in the end, it was Dionne who went home.  Charged once again with always making a “mean face” during her photo shoots, she put on the ultimate mean face when Natasha tried to console her with a hug.  Yikes!  That was cold and actually a little scary. Next week is the season finale.  Renee, Natasha and Jaslene are left.  Who will become America’s Next Top Model?
