Do you ever wonder what Simon is rudely whispering to Paula when he’s supposed to be paying attention to the idol’s performances?
Can Simon really give good constructive criticism when it looks like he’s paying more attention to Paula’s left earlobe than the singing?
Personally, I’ve always sensed some sexual tension amidst Simon and Paula, so
Simon says he’s usually ridiculing Paula’s critiquing style.

I saw Simon talking about this on Ellen yesterday. They showed pics of him grabbing Paula’s nose, etc. He said she’s like his poodle who will let him do whatever he wants to her so he feeds her stupid things to say while the contestants are singing like telling her the song is from Star Wars.
Don’t know who looks worse for saying that, him or her.
Despite the fact that Simon says he listens to the dress rehearsal so he doesn’t have to listen, it really seems distracting for the singers when he’s chatting away.
I agree that it’s probably hard to hear well with a room full of screaming fans but still
